Crime Stoppers and the Batchewana Police Service is requesting your assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a break and enter.

On Feb. 18, 2020 at approximately 4:30 a.m., an unknown suspect attended the Rankin Arena located at 17 Batchewana Street, Batchewana First Nation.

The suspect gained entry through a man door on the west side of the building.

The suspect made their way to the canteen area and can be seen on video taking $150 cash and a bin full of cigarettes and candy bars.

The suspect also attended the garage area and stole several tools valued at $4,122. 

Stolen tools:

  • Stanley socket set in a black plastic carrying case with a value of $250
  • Large electric Bosch hammer drill in a blue plastic carrying case with a value of $1,250
  • Two Mastercraft imperial and metric wrench set were taken with a value of $500
  • Black and yellow 18 volts Dewalt cordless drill with a value of $350
  • Two adjustable wrenches with a value of $50
  • Electric half-inch Bosch drill with a value of $400
  • Mastercraft belt sander with a value of $80
  • Screwdriver set, unknown make, in a carrying case with a value of $80
