Crime Stoppers and the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service are asking for your assistance in identifying a suspect in a theft. 

On July 12, 2018 at approximately 1:18 a.m. an unknown male entered Tim Horton’s located on Bay Street.

The suspect sat down and waited until it was clear and approached the counter where he cut the chain holding the Camp Day donation box.

The suspect placed the donation box in his backpack and left the store.

On July 13, 2018 between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. the suspect repeated the theft at two other Tim Horton’s locations.

This incident was caught on camera and can be viewed on our YouTube page by searching “SSM & Algoma Crime Stoppers”.
