VIDEO: On the first day of Christmas, watch Carter's joy with holiday surprise

On the first day of SooToday's 12 Days of Christmas Random Acts of Kindness program, we surprise Carter, a bright and inspiring young boy who has defied all odds.

Carter is a local six-year-old boy who has faced numerous health challenges and overcome many obstacles to become a bright and inspiring youngster. He is described as a true gift to his family, and everyone around him. He has a glowing smile in the face of adversity, and love for the little things.

Carter, who has been blind since birth, is a huge fan of music. His Christmas wish list included learning to play the piano and attending a Sault Symphony Orchestra performance. Watch as we surprise him with a magical Christmas package to brighten his holiday.
