On the 12th day of Christmas, a surprise for Samantha

Samantha Fera suffers with a debilitating illness, Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) and Cerebral Atrophy. GBS is a disorder in which the body's immune system attacks part of the peripheral nervous system. She struggles daily with physical limitations and pain. She is also the single mother of a teenage son. Samantha is a compassionate and caring person who is always donating of her time and energy to those less fortunate. She also volunteers with the local TAAG animal shelter. The 12 Days of Christmas team selected Sam to thank her for her selflessness and to try to make this holiday season a little bit easier for her family. Our anonymous sponsor has generously purchased a $600 gift certificate together with an additional $150 contribution from Healthgear Medicalmart for their store to assist with medical expenses. Village Media Inc. and our anonymous sponsor bought an iPad 2 ($600 value) with a $150 iTunes gift card.
