Precious Blood Cathedral unveiled an ambitious plan to undertake a $4 million project to create the ‘Gathering Place’. This new addition to the current Church will be constructed on Cathedral grounds, and will be a multi-use gathering place providing both indoor and outdoor settings for celebration, education and outreach.

Within the new concept space there will be a walkway with artistic depictions of Catholic history, including achievement by priests and religious congregations of men and women. As well, there will be a reflective garden, a Centre of Social Justice and Good Works, and a multi-use building that is being constructed.

The Precious Blood parish is hoping the ‘Gathering Place’ will become a place to celebrate their heritage as well as create a lasting area for future generations.
