Community event hopes to eliminate racism and discrimination

Celebrating diversity was the goal of Tuesday's vibrant event at Sault College, as a part of the city's commemoration of the United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.

Education and awareness about different minority groups here in Sault Ste. Marie were delivered through booths and entertainment at the college campus.

Events were held across the city to mark the day and promote inclusivity, including a Unity Walk, Art Gallery of Algoma exhibition tours, and a panel discussion at Algoma University.
