VIDEO: Meet Finnigan, the 17-hand-high gentle giant

SooToday's Jasmyn Rowley tries riding a horse for the first time, and overcomes her fear of the four-legged animal to experience first-hand what the Sault Ste. Marie Horse and Pony club has to offer the community.
The summer camps at the Sault Ste. Marie Horse and Pony Club, running out of Strathclair Farm, are gearing up for the season. The riding lessons are open to any horse enthusiast: young or old, new or experienced (and even those with a fear of horses, like SooToday's Jasmyn Rowley). Watch as Jasmyn tries riding a horse for the very first time, and see just how easy it can be, even for a newbie.

The SSMHPC is a not-for-profit organization which provides an opportunity for the community to ride horses for sport and recreation, as well as mental and physical therapy. For more information on the club, riding lessons, camp registration and upcoming events, visit: http://www.ssmhpc.com
