VIDEO: Haunted (gingerbread) houses for a cause

Algoma University students sponsored by D&R Plumbing finished in first place, but the real winner was United Way who raised $2,600.

The Sault College Public Relations and Event Management program hosted the Halloween House Build event with United Way Sault Ste. Marie and district on Wednesday at the Mill Market..

Nine community teams from different community groups including Algoma University, Sault College Residence and International Students, St Mary's Students, and the Sault Ste. Marie Labour Council took part in the event. 

Businesses were asked to create a team of four people to build and decorate their very own Halloween House.
