Teardown of the the former Dan's Custom Repair building at 860 Queen St. East began today.
As SooToday has previously reported, Edgecon Inc. of Markham, Ontario intends to build a three-storey apartment building at the site.
SooToday reported in 2015 that the neighbouring 55-year-old Diplomat Motel, was purchased by Markham-based North44 Property Management with plans to convert it into apartments.
