VIDEO: Give Peace a chance at grand opening on Feb. 2

Peace is an Asian fusion restaurant with a big city feel

Long-time friends Mikayla and Matt returned to the Sault after travels abroad.

Upon returning they wanted to share some of the culinary delights they experienced.

The pair were contacted by Kevin Rusnell who has a vision of a revitalized downtown. Peace, located where the old Solo restaurant was, is a big part of this dream.

Peace is an Asian fusion restaurant with a big city feel.

The establishment hopes to break people away from their traditional views on dining out.

There an emphasis on dishes that can be shared so that a group gets to try a bit of everything instead of the standard appetizer, main dish and desert formula.

Another big component is the cocktails.

Geared toward young professionals looking for a place to unwind, something not really found in the downtown since the days of Bottoms Up or the Downbeat, Peace has a wide range of cocktails with presentation being front and centre.

Located right across from the GFL Gardens, Peace is excited to finally be able to open its doors to the public. Be sure to check out the full menu and book a table through the website PeaceRestaurant.ca
