VIDEO: Who walked out of Sears with new shoes?

Crime Stoppers and the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service are looking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a theft from Sears

On Friday, Feb. 17 at approximately 3:50 p.m. a male was observed in the shoe department of Sears, selecting a pair of women’s Sketcher's Flex shoes, valued at $85.

He then removed them from the box and was observed on video surveillance concealing them under a folded jacket, which he had over his left arm.

This suspect then proceeded past all points of sale, making no attempts to pay for the items and exited out the north side doors towards Queen Street, at which point he fled on foot eastbound on Queen Street. 

The male is described as having a thin to medium build, shaved head, light complexion, approximately 5’7”- ‘5 9” tall, wearing a beige long sleeve shirt, blue jeans, carrying a black jacket.
