Who is Ozzie Grandinetti?

Ozzie Grandinetti is running candidate for Councillor in Ward 5 of the City of Sault Ste. Marie. Endorsements were secured from Ozzie’s colleagues, his neighbors, and a diverse array of strong community leaders. These endorsements attest to Ozzie Grandinetti’s professionalism, motivation, and dedication to our community of Sault Ste. Marie.

Ozzie was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie and has lived in the City’s west end his entire life. Ozzie and his wife Cindy, have two children, Kyle (24) and Aaron (15).  Ozzie and his family absolutely love Sault Ste. Marie, the warm nature of the people, the landscape and the community. Ozzie has been a small business owner in Sault Ste. Marie for over 25 years. Ozzie has shown a commitment to this community by supporting local charities and serving on many boards and committees such as Conservation Authority and Downtown Association.

Ozzie Grandinetti served on Council from 2006 – 2010 and again for the last 15 months. He is a seeking re-election and he wants to continue being Accountable, Dependable and Accessible to the residents of Sault Ste. Marie and Ward 5.  

Ozzie Grandinetti is campaigning on his strong leadership and passion for this community. Ozzie will be seeking re-election by focusing on ensuring that residents get Basic Services such as sidewalk/ road/ ditch repairs, and snow plowing. He will ensure that the residents can continue to afford to live and do business in our City and that taxes/ fees need to take into account the needs of our community while being affordable to the residents. Ozzie will also continue to support the existing industries and businesses and welcome new business developments in all sectors including our downtown and our post secondary institutions.

As your elected official, I will continue to advocate on behalf of the residents of Ward 5. With the support of my wife and my family, I will continue to make myself available to meet with Ward 5 residents and assist with their concerns.
