Mio’s Furniture Fashion’s temporary showroom closure has sparked a new virtual shopping and consultation service that allows people to stay home and stay safe while addressing their home design needs. 

“Our main concern is for people to continue to practice physical distancing and stay safe,” says Mio’s owner, Javad Ghassemkhani (Jav). “We are encouraging everyone to follow the advice of healthcare professionals as the COVID-19 pandemic develops.”

Mio’s recently launched a new program called Ask Jav, your virtual furniture concierge. The program is based on a simple premise; if you have any questions about furniture or interior design, just reach out and ask Jav. Ask Jav offers digital access to Mio’s showroom and services through text, email, phone and free video consultations. 

“Safe, simple and personal, with a local touch – that’s what we had in mind with this service,” says Jav. “Everyone in our community is being impacted by this challenging time. If we can be there for our clients, it’s the least we can do.”

Mio’s contactless services include:

  • Dedicated pick-up and loading zones
  • Free local curbside delivery
  • Custom furniture for delivery (customization takes approximately 8-10 weeks)
