If you asked Sheri-Ann Morin, owner of Superior Staff Staff it Healthcare Solutions, eight years ago if she’d be working in the healthcare sector, she’d be surprised by the suggestion. As fate would have it though, in 2016 she took a chance and did just that.
For the last six years, Sheri and her team has provided health care staff in the Algoma region when it's needed most by providing around-the-clock support to our long term care facilities, as a licensee of Plan A Long Term Staffing & Recruitment Inc. and licensee of Staffstat Inc.’ software. As of October 31,2022, Sheri-Ann parted ways with Plan A long term Staffing & Recruitment Inc. and Staffstat Inc. and began operating under a new name, Superior Staff it Inc, and to use different software.
From their office located at 248 Queen St E. in Sault Ste. Marie, Sheri and her team of over 100 staff, including PSWs, RPNs and RSAs, consistently display that passion by supporting their community through programs, volunteering and donations.
Community-focused is a way of life at Superior Staff it Inc. that goes beyond the long term care facilities, they also help nursing students and recent graduates get valuable experience by placing them with these homes. They’re able to provide shift scheduling flexibility that is important to their employees, not just for students but also to those topping up their hours and working around other employment and responsibilities.
