Aline Wellness is set for a grand launch at the end of June, providing a multidisciplinary wellness space in Sault Ste. Marie community and downtown area.

Ali Greco, the founder and owner of the space, is a Registered Physiotherapist and certified Pilates instructor. Her physiotherapy practice focuses on orthopedics and pelvic floor physiotherapy. She is certified to be teaching both mat and reformer Pilates and is obtaining her Cadillac, chair, springboard and barrels certification in the Fall.

The space will also offer GLA:D program, an education and exercise program developed by researchers in Denmark for individuals with hip or knee osteoarthritis (OA) symptoms. This program is designed to run twice a week for six weeks, and each group will have up to 5 participants.

"I am excited to be a part of the downtown core and have already felt the love and support from other downtown businesses," said Greco

Other instructors and experts at the wellness space include Cam Coulter, Registered Physiotherapist and Amélie Mclean, Yoga and Meditation teacher.

Coulter graduated from Laurentian University Honours Bachelor of Physical and Sport Education specializing in Health Promotion. Coulter's interests include all aspects of physiotherapy, including orthopedic, neurological and cardiorespiratory. He works full-time at Sault Area Hospital and is excited to begin his private clinic journey. One of Coulter's professional goals is to offer cardiorespiratory services to our community.

Mclean received her 200-Hour Yoga & Meditation Teacher Training through Anuttara Ashram in 2020. In 2021, she completed the prenatal & Postnatal Yoga Teacher Training certification through Bliss Baby Yoga. She also teaches a variety of yoga styles, including Hot Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Restorative Yoga and Vinyasa Yoga. As a yoga teacher, her goal is to help individuals flow freely and comfortably while enjoying their full-body presence.

The expertise of this team will provide a variety of programs and classes in the community with significant services, including Orthopaedic Physiotherapy, Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy, GLA:D Program, Pilates: mat work and reformer lessons, private and semi-private training and Yoga Classes

In future, the wellness space hopes to expand the team by adding a registered massage therapist, additional physiotherapists, and fitness instructors. Greco hopes to create a multidisciplinary team and work collaboratively to create a well-rounded care plan for patients.

In addition to professional services, the team at Aline Wellness hopes to positively contribute to our downtown core and collaborate with other local businesses!

"Aline Wellness is a functional health space that promotes positivity, empathy and inclusivity to support people through all stages of their rehabilitation and wellness journey. We hope to create a joyful experience and uplifting environment that motivates everyone to play an active role in their health and wellness journey," said Greco

Greco's goal is to help the citizens of Sault Ste. Marie move comfortably and confidently. She believes there needs to be more education surrounding the importance and benefits of pelvic floor physiotherapy, and she is very proud to be offering these services.

Aline Wellness does direct billing for most insurance companies; unless your insurance company requires a referral from a doctor. There is no referral needed to attend physiotherapy.
