'Slow down, stay alert' International Bridge Administration reminds motorists

Although international land border crossings remain restricted to essential travel and commercial vehicle traffic only, the International Bridge Administration (IBA) would like to remind motorists that the speed limit on the Sault Ste. Marie International Bridge is 50 km/h (30 miles per hour).

A new release issued this week by the IBA also wanted to alert those crossing the bridge to upcoming maintenance and clean up projects.

"Watch for workers on the bridge, slow down, and don't allow yourself to be distracted while driving in a work zone," the release states.
