The Sault Ste. Marie Fire Department used a water-can fire extinguisher to put out a fire in the engine area of a white Dodge Ram pickup truck that was parked in front the new Meijer Supercentre in Sault, Mich. Saturday evening.
The incident happened around 9:25 p.m.
The Meijer store director on duty said the truck owner called the fire department himself and no ambulance was required but could not provide any more information.
The Sault Ste. Marie Police Department were also on scene but neither them nor the fire department could give any information at this time.
