SAULT STE. MARIE, MICH. - The Soo Locks Children’s Museum will be hosting its first major fundraising event, which promises to be a fun-filled evening of dueling pianos featuring Dave Caruso’s Piano Wars! Piano Wars! is a Detroit-based entertainment company, nationally and internationally known as a premier alternative to generic dueling pianos.

"It's music where you know all the words, performed by master entertainers who can engage and motivate any crowd," according to Dave Caruso, owner and entertainment director.

Diane Chevillot, president of the Soo Locks Children’s Museum Board said, “This fun, comedic, and highly engaging event will take place at the Kewadin Casino DreamMakers Theater located at 2186 Shunk Rd. in Sault Sainte Marie, Mich. on Sat., March 21, 2020. The evening will start with music, cocktails, and hors d'oeuvres from 6. to 7 p.m., followed by a rockin' night filled with great music, sing-alongs, laughs and participation. Participants will enjoy a variety of music styles and eras.”

“All you have to do is request, sing, laugh, dance, and repeat,” says Caruso. There will also be a cash bar,  silent auction, and raffle baskets. Five-star reviews from past participants have included “..absolutely blown away!” “Best entertainment we’ve ever had!” and “Aren’t you overdue for some great fun?”

Chevillot added, “Tickets are $40 per person and can be purchased online at tickets.kewadin.com or in person at the DreamMakers Theater box office. Corporate sponsorships are also available.”

Visit SLCM’s Facebook page or SLCMKids.org for more information about corporate sponsorships and about the event.

“The Soo Locks Children’s Museum will offer children a unique place to explore, discover, learn, and have fun - and offer parents a welcome break as well as an opportunity to see their children come alive with learning opportunities that are steeped in science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM),” Chevillot explained. “The Museum has made incredible progress toward achieving our dream with over $82,000 in very generous donations from our community.”
