Parade of Lights seeking businesses

SAULT STE. MARIE, MICH. - Downtown Sault Ste. Marie will be hosting their annual Parker ACE Hardware Parade of Lights Friday Nov. 24 at 7 p.m. and is proud to have the support of Parker ACE Hardware as the presenting sponsor of this event for the third year.

Parker ACE Hardware has hosted the Santa Claus float in their warehouse and has welcomed parade participants to use their parking lot as the kick-off point for more than 20 years. The parade will again start behind Parker ACE Hardware along Court Street and end at City Hall for the tree lighting.

The Downtown Development Authority is currently seeking businesses and organizations to design a float for our annual parade. This is a chance to advertise your group and to showcase creativity during this festive downtown activity for great prizes! Lights and music are highly encouraged.

First place prize winner: $300*

Second place prize winner: $200*

Third place prize winner: $100*

*Prizes will be awarded in Downtown Dollars valid in any store in Downtown Sault Ste. Marie, Mich.
