SAULT STE. MARIE, MICH - The Moloney’s Michigan Beerfest took place in downtown Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan August 12th and was a huge success. The event welcomed approximately 350 attendees.

Portage Avenue was filled with vendors and eighteen Michigan breweries which showcased an array of unique Made in Michigan craft beers, allowing crowds to taste over 50 IPA's, Lagers, Ales, Porters, Ciders and more.

Proceeds from this year's event were raised to support the families of Jessica Jorgenson and Alex McCreedy. A generous donation of $2,059.45 will be given to each of the families to assist with medical and travel expenses due to cancer illnesses.

Remaining proceeds will be used for future events and festivals in Downtown Sault Ste. Marie.

More than 50 volunteers helped with the success of the Moloney’s Michigan beerfest. Volunteers assisted with tasks ranging from setup/teardown, pouring at each beer tent and monitoring entry points.
