Medical students and faculty from Shaoxing University, Lake Superior State University's partner university in China, have finished a four-week summer program in Sault Ste. Marie that offered glimpses into American health services and culture.

Shaoxing University, located 100 miles south of Shanghai on China's east coast, is a four-year university with 23,000 full-time students enrolled in the arts, natural sciences, engineering, medical science, law, education, economics, and management.

This is Shaoxing University's fifth summer visit. Upcoming exchanges promise to involve more students and faculty from both universities in different academic disciplines.
