Polar Plunge season is upon us and this is your chance to show us how cool you really are. Register, fundraise and take the plunge in support of Special Olympics! All proceeds raised locally will stay local to support the Special Olympics Ontario 2019 Provincial Winter Games being held in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario Jan. 31 - Feb. 3, 2019.

Event details:

  • Date: Saturday, March 10, 2018
  • Registration: 10 a.m.
  • Plunge: 11 a.m.
  • Location: Elks Lodge #552 (1111 E. Portage Ave., Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan)

Special Olympics Ontario is a non-profit organization that helps provide quality sports and training programs for children, youth and adults with an intellectual disability that are only possible through the generous donations that are raised at events such as the Polar Plunge. 

Sault Ste. Marie has been selected to host the 2019 Special Olympics Ontario Provincial Winter Games. Held every four years on a rotating basis, the Winter Games tend to attract around 1,000 participating athletes, coaches, officials and families. Visit the websites for polar plunge or SSMGames for more details.
