Chippewa County reports seven new cases of COVID-19

This brings the total number of county cases to nine

The Chippewa County Health Department (CCHD), which covers the area of Sault Michigan, is reporting seven new confirmed cases of COVID-19.

The total number of cases in the county is nine confirmed and one probable. Three are recovered and seven are active.

Yesterday, the health unit reported two new cases linked to the Amish community.

CCHD also released a list of possible COVID-19 exposure sites.
