New Alberta House exhibit opens Tuesday

Body Positive, an exhibition of paintings by Sault artist Michelle Breen opens Tuesday, May 1, in Alberta House Arts Center and will be in place through May 31. 

A graduate of the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, Breen currently teaches art at St. Mary’s School and does restorative work at the Jim Robertson Gallery in the Valley Camp. She exhibited in the Winery in June of 2016. Her exhibit will fill both Alberta House galleries.  

Regular Alberta House hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The public is invited to meet the artist at her reception in Alberta House on Friday, May 4, between 6 and 8 p.m. Alberta House is located at 217 Ferris St., just half a block south of the Sault Locks Visitors Center in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich. 

Admission is free of charge.
