Pinos has good prices on pork products yesterday, Walmart has 4 dollar logs of ground beef, $2.77 packs of frozen edamame (1lbs) supplement beans for meat proteins. Buy canned fruit portioned fruit and ration like everyone else. I didn’t panic buy anything but am creative with food purchasing. That “measly” 300 dollars you should be grateful for and that we have a government willing to help you and others out. It’s not my business why people are on welfare nor do I care. But to sit back and complain about more assistance while getting assistance is sheer ignorance. I pay my taxes and I work hard to support my family I also work so my taxes can help others in times of need. This is a time of need and you are getting help. And luckily so because our government is helping. So in closing don’t complain, be grateful purchase beans and lentils to save cost and go get that coveted 20 dollar package of toilet paper.

Where I work is absolutely none of your business and I take care of myself and my family (upper middle class). Zgreat1 you must have a disfunction to even ask that question. They need to worry about their employees and their families and keeping everyone working through slow times and hard times. It’s mind boggling that you even ask that. Everyone in the city knows the hardships the employees endure. It’s common knowledge. You must be office folk there
