I completely agree that the noise should be policed. And it's not just a matter of 'you live in a city, there will be noise traffic' - I moved from a walkup on Queen Street in Toronto (a much busier street obviously) to a walkup on Queen street in the Soo and the noise is exponentially worse here. The motorcycles are deafening and constant all evening until about midnight.
