Hi everyone, we've ALWAYS been in CANADA! Over 60% of our production has come from Canada. But we always worked with our US partners for the other 40% because many people live close to border cities, so our US partners could ship faster and cheaper! We've had to end the partnership now because NAFTA is not look fruitful and our customers are looking for something different. In regards to #1Tooltime 's comments, we remember him from highschool and things HAVEN'T CHANGED. ;)

They are! And always have been! It was a partnership between CANADIAN AND USA. Not just one approach, or avenue. We sell to many border cities, so we leveraged our great partnership between the two countries to provide the best service to our customers. If you lived near a border city, you might receive our product from the US to get it to you faster and cheaper, if you lived rural Canada, you might use our Canadian facilities. We were sad to end our partnership on many levels, but never supported protectionism. But times change and our customers have changed too...so good businesses listen to their customers.

We won't ever make them in China, but we do support our clothing thread creators in Honduras. As 'Ethical Supply Chain Suppliers' our basic threads are produced in Honduras with companies that go through regular inspection to ensure there is no slave labour, child labour, international standards for pay and work hours. Our thread creators help support the community and create equal opportunity for men and women in those communities. Threads are then sent to Toronto and designed and produced and shipped with Canadian jobs and Canadian producers. Thanks for the comments everyone!

Thanks for the support ~bounder~, like we said it has taken us a few month to 'test the waters' and see what we could do to keep the Canadian -US partnership. As many steelworkers know, partnerships are key...but a small-time apparel company must be willing to listen to their customers and the times...and times "they are a' changin'"

Hi everyone, we have always valued our CAD-US partnership, and highlighted this because we also have lots of US family! But times have changed, and hopes for a better negotiated NAFTA to improve this trade seem unreachable. Canadians are extremely proud and reasonable people (like ourselves) and so we must put our hands in the future of the people who understand us best and ADAPT when relationships change.

Hi there, just to provide some inside details...we've manufactured in Canada and US. It was a great partnership. It allowed us to ship from both USA or Canada based upon which product you chose and where you were located! Wonderfully symbiotic and great for customers...much like most Canadian-USA partnerships. Unfortunately the partnership has become unstable which makes it very difficult to predict our future and costs. So we've moved from a partnership to Canadian-only, which as stated in the article was a hard decision. Thanks for everyone's comments though, they are all great points.
