Reading the article above, my understanding is the tests being transferred to out of town labs are mandated to be sent. The employees are more than capable of performing these tests and are more than willing to do so. My opinion is the number of tests performed were decreased in order to substantiate the closure of this lab.
By the way, one of these employees was recently awarded a very prestigious award for her excellent work performance! What a slap in the face to her.

Wow! This could not have happened to a more deserving couple. Their love and generosity is so evident when speaking to them about their “special babies/children”. Just had a conversation with Tim about their new baby, and he was just glowing with love. Congratulations you two for bringing so much joy and hope to so many people in our community.

One day I’m told I will receive a raise in my hard earned pension. The next day I’m told my taxes have gone up. The next day I’m told PUC has gone up, etc., etc. So much for my raise.
Question…..is it still a fact that government employees at City Hall do not pay for parking at work? What about Service Ontario, Service Canada, city police, O.P.P. employees? Many others such as hospital employees, courthouse employees have paid for many years. Perhaps this is considered “small potatoes” but everything counts when you’re looking to lower taxes. All government employees should be dealt with the same in my honest opinion.
