Scrap the urban renewal part of the budget. Our city gives away money for low income ppl to upgrade their homes. I don't agree that it's a fair use of MY tax dollars but I don't get to vote on it. Let's put stuff on the ballot like they do in the US so we can get rid of annoying spending.

How likely are you to purchase or lease an electric vehicle next?

Far less than buying gasoline at $1.35 a litre and still going up. Tesla is the most valuable auto maker on the planet and getting more valuable by the minute. There's a reason for that and a reason why ALL the automakers have plans to end ICE (internal combustion engine) production. As electric vehicles come online gasoline prices will soar trying to keep the companies in business but that strategy will only make things worse for them.

"the consumer will decide when an ev is in their future"
Nope.......sometimes decisions are made from the top. The rejection of Alberta pipelines and tar sands oil by the USA is spelling it out for you. The future is NOT ICE. If you want an idea of how quickly things can change go watch "Tony Seba" on youtube. Once all the pieces are in place things will change almost over night. Oil is on the way out.....there's no turning back

You're so outta touch it's unbelievable Alex...........Open your eyes bud......the writing is on the wall
Don't get me wrong, it won't be easy but there's no turning back. Ontario's poor management of the electrical grid is going to cost us BIG time as this rolls out but the rest of North America is going to eat it up........watch and see.

It's coming folks! You're in denial if you don't see it. Any money poured into a gas guzzler from this point forward is likely a waste. You won't be able to give 'em away 10 years from now.

travel doesn't impact variants one bit. It's volume of disease that allows the virus to mutate and find successful variations. Allowing the disease to flourish (not just in the USA) is why we have all these variants. Scientists warned us but politics and politicians didn't follow the advice. Generally speaking Canada did a good job shutting down and following scientific advice BUT our citizens didn't exactly follow guidance and continued to travel. The airlines cried the blues because they are NEVER prepared for anything but growth and the politicians allowed them to continue bringing sick people to our airports. Now we ALL pay the price
