Dad got his start in Canada as a dairy farmer on Manitoulin Island. Mr. Ivan Purvis (Jack's dad) gave him his hand up holding a mortgage on Clover Hill Dairy farm at Gore Bay. He loved the people in the north and called it God's country. Even after moving back to southern Ontario the family made annual trips back to enjoy the natural beauty of landscape and waterways. An amazing man that loved people and loved to tell stories of God's blessings and care. What a legacy! Enjoy what the Lord has prepared for you Dad! Linda & Eric Brauner

A beautiful woman of God! I enjoyed meeting with Lois and our group of ladies for Bible study at her home. She was the most wonderful hostess and I the guide. We had many wonderful discussions together with the Stonecroft Ministries guidelines. The Christian Women's Club was an interdenominational ministry that met monthly.
