The problem with opening the border because we are adjacent to a 'low covid area', is 'open it and they will come'... from far and wide... and bring the Covid germs with them!! Have you seen the craziness on the news of how they are doing nothing to stop the spread? KEEP THE BORDER CLOSED!!!!

I hope this outbreak leads to big changes in Long Term Care homes, with less 'part time' staff who HAVE to work at mulitiple facilities just to make ends meet... hire them on as full time, and fund the whole system better, so the people in the Homes can be cared for like 'family' rather than being treated like 'cattle'... because they don't have sufficient staffing numbers to provide better care.

no, apparently there is now a northern ontario wide fire ban... so if your camp is in southern ontario, its ok.... they don't have any bush to burn...which is a farce... as I don't have any bush to burn in my backyard here in town... I've yet to hear about a backyard bonfire getting out of hand.... burning grass, in a field, yes, but not a little bonfire you sit around...

I agree with bobbyb25... and I am 'construction savvy'..... we are closing in on 2 years since project start and this project isn't half way finished! What has it cost in damages to the interior, and extra heating/cooling with the exterior walls half constructed state. Don't go blaming the 'sub contractor's.... it's all on the 'General Contractor' he hires the subs, he is respsonsible to meet the contract expectations for completion times. Maybe somebody should as why the subs aren't providing the product? Could it be the General isn't paying the subs? Follow the money. I'm a tax payer and I see a big waste of MY money for a sub-par progress.

Anyone who drives thru water that deep, is just asking for trouble. What if a manhole had been moved during this.... blasting thru the water covered road like that, they could have hit an open manhole... injured or killed themselves, damage to their vehicle... and who would they have blamed... the City! Go have a 'blast' on a closed course raceway, not on our city streets. Start using your head!

in winter, some driveways are not wide enough to place BOTH bins.. it's better to put them out on separate days... you have to make 2 trips, whats the difference what day it is... and lots of people don't put their recycle bins out EVERY week... I know we don't, we make sure its full before putting it out...
