I purchased a local business in 2013. Minimum wage was $11.25. Every time minimum wage goes up, the costs are passed to the customer. The increase in minimum wage simply fuels inflation. Politicians are too unintelligent to realize the link.

What are you talking about? The article is referring to grade 8 and grade 12 grads. Those students spent zero dollars pursuing their education.

Excellent point.
GenLoggy and Joe Bo soo are not considering all those affected.
As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic I had to layoff 4 staff members on March 13th. Two of them are students at Sault College and made less than $5000 the proceeding year and will not qualify for the CERB. They both had ambitions to save more for their college education and other expenses.
