The Ontario government is guilty of femocide. It's time the courts have the agencies the trust to carry out sentences. The anger management program in my town doesn't compete or review the work. Social workers are addicts and The managers are raping prostitutes. At homeless shelters welfare and a life of petty crime is encouraged an d the good food feeds the families of the workers who are paid $30. The system failed these woman long ago. May they not have died in vain

Village Media is a cut above the rest! As a life long political and current event junkie, I have no doubt that Google is going to learn a thing or two.

Unfortunately those who live in poverty have few choices. The statistics prove it. There are no family vacations or soccer. Could you imagine raising your children having to take the bus. Every errand. Raising your children with no back yard. Surrounded by struggle.
A beautiful woman carrying chairs and a bag took a seat in the curb in my front yard last week. It looked like she needed help so I offered. What she carried was all she owned. She was on her way to her new place at a rooming house. She had been homeless for three years. She told me how a phone and mailbox would change her life. For 3 years agency after agency she went to. Finally after 3 years she's living the dream. She had no choices.
It's not poor people running the drugs. Men on welfare don't frequent prostitutes. poverty is systemic.
I can't pretend to know what your struggles are but don't be so naive to think these overdose victims had the choices youve had.

Great Investigative Reporting!
I hope you stay on this one. There's a reason poverty is systemic and this looks like an example. Melissa was quick to recieve the check, she should welcome opportunity to clear any confusion when it comes to get morals and integrity.

I dont have many people in my life so my friendship with Larry meant a lot to me. We would bicker back and forth but Larry had a genuine care for my well being. His wise words had me rethink more then a few decisions over the years. Heaven has another angel. To honor Larry's memory when in peril I will remember him. Ill take a moment and ask myself what Larry would advise. Rest in peace my friend.
I will never forget you

The citizens of the Sault are happy to see people like yourself leave.
I moved to Sault Ste Marie 6 years ago and still when travelling the town, when I look at my surroundings I smile. I see a city that has been planned well by its leaders. Learning from mistakes and continuous hard work shows in so many areas. The people here wonderful. I live in what is considered a bad area and the residents are so friendly. The Sault has low crime tonnes if opportunity and the beautiful north with the fishing hunting and great lakes is a few minutes away. I suggest you expect more oc yourself. Your comment expresses selfishness and makes you seem unintelligent. You kind if seem ugly too
