Assault Charges Laid Desbarats, Ont., East Algoma O.P.P. received complaints from two junior students at Central Algoma Secondary School. The incidents stemmed from an alleged physical confrontation between a teacher and two students.

Drowning Victim Recovered On May 10th 2005 at approximately 11:15 P.M., members of the Ontario Provincial Police, Espanola Detachment, received a report of a possible drowning on the Spanish River in Massey.

Mischief (Elliot Lake, Ont.) The OPP is once again investigating a mischief at a local high school. Sometime between Friday, May 6th, 2005 and Monday, May 9th, 2005 unknown person(s) threw a bottle at a rear window of the school.
