Counterfeit $5.00 Surfaces in Blind River (Blind River, Ont.) The East Algoma OPP is investigating a complaint of a possible counterfeit $5.00. Investigation revealed that the note was located in money obtained during a recent event. The $5.

Residential Break-In (Blind River, Ont.) An activated house alarm led Police in East Algoma to arrest one person for Breaking and Entering. At around 2:30 p.m. police were dispatched to a house alarm on Leacock St in Blind River.
