THREE COLLISIONS-ONE INJURY
Sault Ste Marie, Ont.,

Yesterday's poor weather resulted in Sault Ste Marie OPP investigating three collisions in the patrol area in which one person received minor injuries

At about 1:00 a.m. this morning, a pick-up truck was southbound on Highway 17 just south of Montreal River. The driver lost control and ended up in the ditch. He was transported to Sault and Area Hospitals by ambulance were he was treated for minor injuries and released.

The other two accidents happened on Hwy 17 in Laird Twp and on Hwy 17 in Goulais River. Both of these accidents are attributed to the weather. There were no injuries.

With Environment Canada calling for two more days of snow and wet snow, Sault Ste Marie OPP would again remind you to drive according to the weather conditions. Slow down and leave extra room between you and the other vehicle.
