SHOTS FIRED AT HUNTERS TRUCK

Sault Ste Marie OPP are investigating a report of damage to an unattended pick up truck north of Echo Bay.

Police received the report yesterday that a hunter left his blue pick up truck parked on a bush road near Two Horse Lake, north of Echo Bay. The hunter went hunting and when he returned he discovered that someone had shot up the front fender and front door. Investigation indicates that the truck was shot with what appeared to be a small shot gun.


IMPAIRED DRIVER

Patrol officers from Sault Ste Marie OPP charged one person with Impaired Driving last night. At about midnight last night, officers on patrol were following a pick up truck in the Heyden area that crossed the center line several times.
The vehicle was pulled over and the driver was discovered to be drinking. A Heyden man, sixty five year old Ameda Houle, was charged with Impaired Driving.
