A 30-year old man was seriously injured last night in a skidder accident. Clay Chapman of Goulais River was working a skidder at Batchewana Station, approximately 120 kilometers north of The Sault.

Police say he apparently got off the skidder and in doing so accidentally set it in motion, running him over. Mr. Chapman was transported to Sault Area Hospitals in serious condition. The Sault OPP and the Ministry of Labour are investigating.
