A student from Central Algoma Secondary School (CASS) in Desbarats has been charged with assault following an incident that occurred on Monday.
A news release issued by the East Algoma Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) alleges that the 15-year-old accused “elbowed and slammed the 15-year-old victim's head against a locker.”
The accused, a resident of Thessalon, is scheduled to appear in court in Elliot Lake on May 12.
