At approximately 8 a.m. Friday, officers with the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), OPP Canine Unit, detachment members of the Sault Ste. Marie OPP and Sault Ste. Marie Police Service Emergency Service Unit (ESU) executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant at a residence on Chicora St. in the Sault.
The search warrant led to the seizure of suspected cocaine, fentanyl, and a loaded semi-automatic handgun.
42-year-old Jennifer McRea-Lipinski of Sault Ste. Marie is facing charges of:
- Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the purpose of trafficking - opioid (other than heroin), 5(2) Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA),
- Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the purpose of trafficking - methamphetamine, 5(2) CDSA,
- Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the purpose of trafficking - cocaine, 5(2) CDSA,
- Possession property obtained by crime under $5,000 - in Canada, 354(1)(a) Criminal Code (CC) (two counts),
- Fail to comply with release order - other than to attend court, 145(5)(a) CC (three counts)
- Fail to comply with probation order, 733.1(1) CC.
Amadou Doukoure, 25, of Toronto has been charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the purpose of trafficking - opioid (other than heroin), 5(2) Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA),
- Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the purpose of trafficking - cocaine, 5(2) CDSA,
- Possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm 95(a), Criminal Code (CC),
- Careless storage of firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition, 86(1) CC,
- Possession of a firearms or ammunition contrary to prohibition order, 117.01(1) CC,
- Fail to comply with probation order, 733.1(1) CC, and
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 - in Canada, 354(1)(a) CC
Morgan Robinson, 25, from MacDonald Meredith and Aberdeen Township is facing charges of:
- Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance - opioid (other than heroin), 4(1) Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, and
- Fail to comply with probation order, 733.1(1) Criminal Code
Mykaila Koronovich, 23, from Sudbury is facing a charge of
- Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance - opioid (other than heroin), 4(1) Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
