Sault driver charged following traffic stop in Blind River

A Sault Ste. Marie driver was charged in Blind River after officers responded to a traffic complaint regarding a possible impaired driver on Monday evening.

Police say the driver failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Woodward Avenue and Hudson Street. OPP located the vehicle a short time later stopped in the middle of the road on West Street.

Murray Myles, 67 years old, is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 1 and stands charged with:
    •    Dangerous operation, contrary to section 320.13(1) of the Criminal Code
