Sault Ste. Marie O.P.P. advises that Highway 17 north of the Sault was re-opened at 3:00 p.m. Hayden to Wawa had been closed due to extreme weather conditions. Snow and blowing snow off Lake Superior had reduced visibility to zero.

Sault Ste. Marie O.P.P. advises that Highway 17 north of the Sault was re-opened at 3:00 p.m. Hayden to Wawa had been closed due to extreme weather conditions. Snow and blowing snow off Lake Superior had reduced visibility to zero. Although the highway has been re-opened, police advise that the conditions are not good.
