At approximately 10:30 Friday morning, Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of a trespasser at a motel on Mission Road in Wawa.
Police were told that staff found an unpaid guest sleeping in one of the rooms.
Police say the accused fled prior to their arrival but was found a short time later.
28-year-old Ken Sayers of Sault Ste. Marie is facing a charge of unlawfully in dwelling house, contrary to section 349(1) of the Criminal Code (CC).
