OPP look for vehicle that fled RIDE check near Bruce Mines

PLUMMER ADDITIONAL TOWNSHIP – East Algoma OPP are asking for the public's help after a vehicle fled a RIDE check last week near Bruce Mines. 

In a release issued today, police say they were conducting a RIDE check on Cloudslee Road in Plummer Additional Township at around 11:30 p.m. on Jan. 7 when a vehicle failed to stop 

The car is describe as a black Volkswagen Jetta with damage to the front driver's door and the driver's side window.  

Anyone with information regarding the Volkswagen Jetta's whereabouts is asked to immediately contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or their nearest police authority.  

Anyone wishing to remain anonymous is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), submit information online or download the P3 App where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
