STOLEN SNOW MACHINES
Echo Bay, Ont.,

Sault Ste Marie OPP is investigating reports of three stolen snow machines over the weekend.

On Friday evening the operator of one machine stopped at a restaurant in Echo Bay. As the driver had dinner, his machine was stolen.

The other two machines were removed from a residence in Heyden over the weekend. On Sunday afternoon the owner of those two machines went to go for a ride and discovered that sometime overnight the two machines were removed from beside the house.

WEEKEND WEATHER PLAYS HAVOC WITH TRAFFIC

Sault Ste Marie OPP were kept busy with highway closures and collisions all weekend as snow and high winds once again belted this area. Highway 17 north of Sault Ste Marie was closed on three different occasions this past weekend because of weather conditions.

Sault Ste Marie OPP also investigated seven collisions over the weekend. No one was injured in these collisions and all accidents were attributed to the adverse
