ANOTHER CAR DEER ACCIDENT
Echo Bay, Ont.

Sault Ste Marie OPP responded to another car-deer accident last night. At about 7:30 p.m. a vehicle was travelling on Hwy 17 in the Echo Bay area. A deer ran into the path of the vehicle and was struck by the car. No one in the vehicle was injured. The car now has moderate damage to it. The deer was killed instantly.


SINGLE VEHICLE COLLISION
Goulais River, Ont.

Last night Sault Ste Marie OPP were called to Goulais Mission Rd in Goulais River for a single vehicle collision. At about 12:00 midnight police arrived at the scene of the collision. Police were able to determine that the vehicle had left the roadway and ended up in the ditch. Police believe that a medical condition of the elderly driver was responsible for the accident. No charges will be laid in this accident.
