BREAK AND ENTERS INTO ISOLATED CAMPS
Goulais River, Ont.,

Sault Ste Marie OPP were called to a break and enter into an unoccupied camp in the Goulais Mission area of Goulais River.

Yesterday morning the owner of the camp was advised by neighbours that there were fresh footprints leading up to the front door and the screen door was left open.

Further investigation revealed that the camp had been forcibly entered. So far police have been unable to determine if anything has been taken from the camp.

A second break in was investigated at a camp east of Searchmont on Devil's Lake. The owners of this camp advise that sometime during this past week electronic equipment and alcohol were taken from the camp. If anyone has any information on these break and enters or any other break ins please call the Sault Ste Marie OPP or Crime stoppers.
