Drug warrant executed, three charged

ONTARIO PROVINCIAL POLICE

WAWA - On Oct. 23, 2017 at approximately 5:20 p.m. members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) and members from the Superior East (Wawa) OPP detachment executed a warrant on a residence in the town of Wawa.

As a result of police investigation a quantity of drugs were located at the residence with a total street value of $12,030.

Three persons were arrested and charged with the following:  

Pascal Gagnon, 41 years of age from Wawa, Ont. was arrested and charged with:  

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking - schedule I (cocaine) contrary to Section 5(2) Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA)
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking - schedule II (cannabis) contrary to Section 5 (2) CDSA
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking - schedule II cannabis (oil) contrary to Section 5(2) CDSA

The accused is being held in custody pending a bail hearing. 

Pierre Louis DelGuidice, 61 years of age from Dubreuilville, Ont. was arrested and charged with:  

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking - schedule I (cocaine) contrary to Section 5(2) Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA)
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking - schedule II (cannabis) contrary to Section 5 (2) CDSA
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking - schedule II cannabis (oil) contrary to Section 5(2) CDSA

The accused is being held in custody pending a bail hearing.

A 17 year old female was also charged with the following:  

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking - schedule I (cocaine) contrary to Section 5(2) Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA)
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking - schedule II (cannabis) contrary to Section 5 (2) CDSA
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking - schedule II cannabis (oil) contrary to Section 5(2) CDSA

The accused was released on a promise to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Wawa on Dec. 11, 2017.
