BLIND RIVER - On Dec. 27, 2017, shortly after 1 a.m., members from the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence on Hudson Street in the Town of Blind River.

Investigation determined that a male and a female had gone out for the evening on Dec 26, 2017. At the end of the night the couple attended a local bar where an argument ensued. The male left the bar enraged. When he arrived home he locked the door on his girlfriend.
