Police say teen dead, two injured in pickup truck rollover in Brock township

TORONTO — Police say one teen is dead and two are in critical condition after a pickup truck accident northeast of Toronto.

Durham Regional Police say a 15-year-old from Sunderland was killed when the pickup truck he was riding in lost control and rolled into a ditch in Brock township.

Officers were dispatched to the scene early Sunday morning and are asking for anyone with information or witnesses to call police.

Police say the vehicle had seven teen occupants onboard and was driven by a 16-year-old girl from Sunderland. 

Four of the occupants were ejected during the rollover.

Six of the teens, all ages 15 to 17, were transported to local hospitals and later airlifted to Toronto trauma centres. 

As of Sunday afternoon, two were listed in critical condition while the other four were in serious but stable condition.
